Last week, I started the new season of this NL with a very technical NL. This one is going to be more personal. I will reveal the three big announcements I have.
As you know, I founded Frenetic five years ago, but, probably most of you don´t know, Frenetic origin is another company called Sp Control Technologies, created in 2014. The main product of SP Control Technologies was the SpCard, a system based on software + hardware to create PWM signals to modulate power converters. In Figure 1, you can see the board and the software.
In 2015, I went to the US to present the product at the main conference of Power Electronics, APEC. I also took the opportunity to visit Silicon Valley, and I fell in love with the area. I thought, one day, I would come here to work close to the best semiconductor and electronic companies.
This is an excellent moment to say;
-Boy, be careful what you wish for 🤷♂️!
We move to Silicon Valley!
Nine years after my first trip, In October, We will move definitively to live in Silicon Valley, in Los Gatos. I will move there with my baby🍼 (almost one year old!!), my beautiful wife and our dog, Pablo 🐕.
In 2021, I started this Newsletter on my first trip to the US (First edition). Since that trip, I have made ten more trips to the US, and the business response has been great.
If you are based close to Silicon Valley, I’m preparing a surprise for you…

Unique event for Power Electronics
We are almost there! Next week, it will take place the Magnetics & Madrid 2023 conference.
I have checked the attendees, and we have people from very different types of companies, including Magnetic Manufacturers like Wurth and Lasslop, big corporations like Hella or Vitesco, power supplies manufacturers like TDK-Lambda…
There will be a Magnetic Workshop at the Frenetic House, where engineers can wind their own magnetic. That’s impressive!!
