Earning more money than hardware engineers (Hiring a Full-stack developer is a very complex task)
They are building unique products in a matter of days
They need to update their knowledge every year
A Power Electronics engineer that dominates this book from 1994 is a current TOP expert in the industry. The evolution of how the articles are shared since 1994 is basically zero.
And the main reason is the difficulty of building on top of othersβ work.
Software engineers use code from others all the time, while hardware engineers donΒ΄t. I think itβs due to the lack of infrastructure to find Actionable Projects for Power converters. Letβs see a specific example.
I was reading this book, and I found this article.
Itβs very interesting. It was written by Lloyd Dixon in 1994, and itβs about saturable inductors and the circuits to reset the inductors.
I thought. I would love to simulate it and compare this solution with a multioutput flyback.
But, It will take me 4 hours to understand the article.
Another 2 hours to replicate the simulation.
And even like this, I couldnΒ΄t be sure if this is working because there arenΒ΄t Lab results.
