It’s APEC time, and you know it!
After a week around Silicon Valley, I traveled to Orlando to meet the most relevant people in the Magnetic industry at the PSMA Workshop of Magnetics right before APEC.
This year, attendance at the workshop has increased considerably with respect to the last year. It has been great to meet in person again Ed Herbert, George Slama, and Matt Wilkow….the good guys! Also, friends from Bourns, Epic Power, Simplis, or Triad Magnetics.
This year, we have seen presentations about regulations (Dough from Triad Magnetics), Resins (Elantas), and the nice story of Victor Quinn from Exxelia.
A deep technical presentation about a Planar Magnetic design of Harold Eicher, from Champs Technology.
But to be honest, the most important fact to highlight is the possibility of spending time with colleagues without a face mask and in a great ambient.
I will keep my eyes open for the coming APEC and give you a good summary.
